Fit
Does it solve your actual problem, or a more interesting one?
Hiring pool
Could you hire for it in India if you took the project in-house?
Total cost
Licences, hosting and the operational time to run it — not just build cost.
Exit risk
How hard would it be to leave? We don't build things you can't walk away from.
AWS for breadth and hiring pool, Azure if you're already Microsoft, Google Cloud for data and ML work. Honestly, the differences matter far less than picking one and using it properly.
Only when you need redundancy, scaling or compliance you can't get otherwise. Plenty of profitable businesses run on shared hosting, and we'd rather tell you that than bill for a migration.
Right-sizing, committed-use discounts, deleting forgotten resources, and tagging so spend is attributable. A 30–50% reduction on an unoptimised bill is common.
